

Goldie Soetianto is a queer, neurodivergent Asian-Australian female cinematographer and producer (BFA Film & TV, QUT 2010; Graduate Diploma Cinematography, AFTRS 2013).
She is a co-founder of YouTube channel and production company Deerstalker Pictures with writer/director Elliot Owen Charles, creating the hit fantasy comedy web series 1 For All with over 1 million subscribers.
She shares a love for exploring fantasy worlds, subculture and genre film, often with absurd humour and striking aesthetics, and creating space for marginalised voices both in front and behind the camera.
She has over a decade of experience as a cinematographer including four features; Reaching Distance (2018, D.C. Fairhurst), Rhapsody of Love (2020, Joy Hopwood), Water Horse (2024, Jennifer Van Gessel), and Pickpockets (TBA 2025/2026, D.C. Fairhurst), and SBS Digital Originals/Screen Australia web series Night Bloomers (2023, Undi Lee, Suzanne Kim) and documentary Miss Ink (2024, Jo-Anne Brechin); as well as having shot over 100 NIDA actor's showreels with Emmy-award winning writers/directors Guy Edmonds & Matt Zeremes (Hardball, Spooky Files).
In 2021 She received the ACS NSW Silver award for 1 For All’s Bardic Inspiration musical episode cinematography.
